Terms
The terms for using Othvia: what we provide, what you are responsible for, and how billing works.
Last updated 5 November 2026Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you, or the company you represent, and AInovaty DOO, Heroja Maričića 93, 36000 Kraljevo, Serbia ("Othvia", "we"). By creating a Console account or using the service you accept them. If you accept for a company, you confirm that you may bind it. The Sovereign self-hosted license is governed by its own written agreement, which prevails over these terms for that license.
The service
Othvia provides hosted sign-in, single sign-on, directory sync and related management tools for the applications you build. You are responsible for your applications, for what you configure in your realms and for everything done with your credentials and management tokens. Keep them secret, and tell us promptly if you think they have leaked.
Your users' data
You own the data of the people who sign in to your products. You are the controller and we are your processor, as described on the Privacy page, which forms part of these terms. You are responsible for having the right to give us that data and for telling your users how it is used.
Plans and billing
Free is free, within its limits. Pro and Scale are monthly subscriptions, started from Billing & usage in the Console after you sign in. A retained user is someone who signed in at least once in the month and kept their account for more than 24 hours; inactive accounts are not counted. Prices are shown in euros and exclude tax where tax applies. Plans are billed monthly; there are no annual plans. A connection beyond those a plan includes costs €39 a month on Pro and €25 on Scale. Retained users above what a plan includes are charged as a one-time charge, €2 on Pro and €1 on Scale for each started 1,000.
Payments are handled by Paddle, which is the merchant of record: it charges you, issues the invoice and collects the applicable VAT, and its checkout terms apply to the payment. A plan change takes effect from the next billing period unless the Console says otherwise before you confirm. Early prices may change before general availability, and we tell you at least 30 days before a change reaches an active subscription.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time from Billing & usage. It then runs until the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed, and the realm falls back to the Free limits. We refund where the law requires, and otherwise at our discretion for a charge made in error; ask within 14 days at hello@othvia.com.
Acceptable use
Do not attack other systems or Othvia, probe the service for weaknesses outside the process on the Security page, or try to evade quotas or rate limits.
Do not use Othvia to send unsolicited messages, to sign in or enrol people who have not agreed to use your product, or to break the law.
Do not resell the hosted service as your own identity platform.
Availability and support
We run Othvia to be available and publish the live state on the Status page. Unless we have agreed a service level with you in writing, we do not promise a specific uptime. Support is by email at hello@othvia.com, and we plan maintenance so that sign-in stays up.
Suspension
We may suspend a realm or an account that threatens the security of the service or of other customers, or that breaks these terms. We tell you why and restore it as soon as the cause is gone. We may also suspend a paid plan after a failed payment that stays unpaid after reminders.
Ending the relationship
You can stop using Othvia and export your realm's configuration and users first. When you delete a realm it is held for 30 days, then purged. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or at once for a serious breach. Sections that by their nature continue, such as liability and governing law, continue.
Ownership
Othvia, its software, documentation and brand remain ours. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be free of errors. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where they apply.
Changes
We may update these terms. For a change that matters to you we email Console administrators at least 30 days before it applies, and if you do not agree you can cancel before then. The date at the top shows the current version.
Governing law
The laws of the Republic of Serbia apply, and disputes are heard by the competent court in Kraljevo. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply to you if you are a consumer.
